These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to your use of Gift Guru (the “Mini”), a Shop Mini operated by RamiApps (“we”, “us”, “our”) inside the Shop app.
By using the Mini, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use Gift Guru.
1. What Gift Guru Does
Gift Guru is an AI-powered assistant that helps you discover gift ideas and related products available in the Shop ecosystem. It surfaces product suggestions and navigates you to product pages and checkout in the Shop app.
We do not process or collect payments. Checkout and payment are always handled by Shopify / Shop Pay.
2. No Fees for Using the Mini
We do not charge you a fee for using Gift Guru in Shop.
You only pay for products, shipping, and taxes as shown by the merchant at checkout in Shop / Shop Pay. Developers are not allowed to charge users fees for using a Shop Mini.
3. Relationship With Shopify and Merchants
Gift Guru runs inside the Shop app and uses Shopify’s Shop Minis SDK.
Shopify controls your Shop account, checkout, and payments. Individual merchants are responsible for their products, pricing, shipping, refunds, and customer service. We are not a party to your purchase contracts with merchants.
4. Data and Permissions
Gift Guru uses only the permissions needed for core functionality:
openid– to identify a valid Shop user session;user_settings:read– to respect language/region and similar preferences;product_list:write– to build and manage gift/product lists connected to your browsing session.

5. AI-Generated Suggestions
Gift Guru uses AI to generate text suggestions. AI may be inaccurate or incomplete. Suggestions are informational only and are not guarantees or professional advice. You are responsible for checking product details and deciding what to buy. We are not liable for choices you make based on suggestions.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- use the Mini for illegal or harmful activities;
- attempt to attack, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the Mini or its APIs;
- circumvent or interfere with Shop / Shop Pay checkout flows;
- use the Mini to sell anything outside of products available in Shop.
We may suspend or restrict access if we detect abuse or violation of these Terms.
7. Availability and Changes
Gift Guru is provided “as is” and “as available.”
We may update, improve, or remove features at any time, or temporarily suspend the Mini (for example, for maintenance or to comply with Shopify’s requirements).
8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law:
- We provide the Mini without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
- We do not warrant that suggestions will be suitable, accurate, or error-free.
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or data.
- Our total liability for any claim related to the Mini is limited to the amount you paid us specifically to use Gift Guru in the last 30 days (typically $0 for Shop users).
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where that is not permitted by law.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date shows the latest version. If you continue using Gift Guru after changes, you accept the updated Terms.
